Brent King Limited
Brent King Limited is a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Hampshire. The Company was formed
by Eva King FCA on 30 May 2003, and its aim is to provide a personalised service to businesses
and individuals.
The Company was originally set up from Eva’s home in Winchester as E-King Accountancy Services
Limited. Within the first year of trading Eva teamed up with Alan Brent FCA who had his own
Accountancy Practice, "Brent & Co" and also "Care-in-Practice Ltd" specialising in the care
sector and nursing homes. The close involvement with Alan’s businesses led to the change in
name to Brent King Limited in October 2004. Alan Brent FCA, also has many year’s experience in
practice and is providing consultancy services to Brent King Limited.
The expansion and development of the business also let to the opening of an office at the Gosport
Business Centre. As Eva used to live in Gosport she has managed to keep her connection with the
area; but has also managed to build up business in Winchester where she currently lives. As the business expanded,
Eva's husband, Malcolm also joined the company in 2007.
Eva King FCA
Born and educated in Sweden, Eva King, trained and qualified in the UK as a Chartered
Accountant in 1980 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. She has
been working in accountancy practices in Hampshire since qualifying. Eva has built up
an extensive knowledge and experience from dealing with the financial affairs of local
businesses and individuals.
Eva trained with Radford, Sons & Co. in Southampton in the late 1970’s, and has since been
employed as a manager at Donnelly, Hamilton & Brent, Gosport; Matthews Mist & Co, Southampton;
Burnett Swayne, Southampton and finally at CW Fellowes Limited, Winchester, before leaving to
set up her own company.
In her spare time, Eva is also an active member of the
Hampshire Anglo-Scandinavian Society
and some of her other interests are music, films, languages, travelling, walking holidays,
cooking and socialising with friends and family. Eva has lived in Winchester since 1989 and
is married with two grown up sons - Tom
and Sam.
